I would like to help you to achieve an optimal level of health through lifestyle changes. People with chronic health issues feel they don't have control over their bodies, but I can teach you how to regain power and control over yours. Our bodies talk to us, we just have to pay attention to them to be able to understand and provide them with what they are required to improve.

Inflammation is the underlining root cause of most chronic conditions: obesity, ADD/ADHD, diabetes, IBS, chronic pain, etc. Proper nutrition, supplementation/nutraceutical, physical activity, stress management, etc. can control and regulate it to alleviate and manage any chronic ailment.

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. I became a Licensed Acupuncturist in the states of Florida, Maryland, Michigan, and Virginia. Later I continue my studies attending the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine for my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Additionally, I have continued my journey by studying Functional Medicine at the Functional Medicine University to become a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. I practiced as a Acupuncturist physician privately treating children, youth, adults, and the elderly in Miami, FL. Moreover, I worked for over 4 years at Life Force Chiropractic in Baltimore, MD, and at the University of Maryland Cancer Center, where I did research in the use of Acupuncture to manage and control chemotherapy side effects. Furthermore, I moved to Ann Arbor, MI working with the acclaimed Dr. Elizabeth Shadigian in her clinic Woman Safe Health. Currently, I am the only Acupuncturist Physician working at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA treating our active duty members for multiple conditions such as Chronic pain (back, shoulder, knee, neck pain, fibromyalgia, migraines), ADD/ADHD, Chronic inflammatory conditions (IBS, Diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, etc), Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Insomnia, Gynecological issues (PMS, menopause, infertility, PCOS), Cancer and chemotherapy side effects, and much more.

I maintain the philosophy "keep learning all your life". I am also a certified Lifestyle Coach by Transitions, Master Reiki, trained in Battlefield Acupuncture, and Bilingual professional (English-Spanish)

I believe that my patients' needs are of the utmost importance and am seriously committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and their referrals.

I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and to both demonstrate the benfits of Oriental and Functional Medicine as well as deliver you the best service in the industry.

I have created a new tele-program  to fit the new demands and expectations of our constantly busy lives. This system of tele-consultation allows you to receive a personalized care from the comfort and privacy of your home. Questionnaires and forms are emailed to you and evaluated previously to the initial consultation, then discussed with you to create a 100% personalized program.
